Facilities
At Delhi Public School Deoghar, safety isn’t just a feature — it’s a philosophy. It lives in every
corner, corridor, classroom, and cabin. It is the quiet assurance we offer every parent, and the
unspoken comfort every child carries through their day.
Here, safety walks hand-in-hand with structure. Every layer of infrastructure is designed with
intention — to protect, to nurture, and to inspire.
School Campus Safety
- A robust, multi-angle CCTV surveillance system keeps a watchful eye across the campus, ensuring full coverage of academic zones, entry points, and open spaces.
- “Two-student outgoing” rule is followed for washroom and water breaks, promoting accountability and company.
- Two trained attendants are present on each floor, offering support and supervision during peak student movement hours.
- Female attendants are posted outside girls’ restrooms, maintaining hygiene, safety, and comfort.
- Classroom monitoring during breaks and dispersal is a well-established routine, overseen by teachers with diligence.
- Professional security services from SIS India, one of the country’s most trusted providers, ensure round-the-clock protection at all entry points.
Hostel Safety (1000+ Bed Residential Facility)
Our hostel facility, designed to accommodate over 1000 students, is a campus within a campus — secure, serene, and sensitively managed.

- The hostel is under constant CCTV surveillance, monitored by wardens and security staff.
- Separate blocks for boys and girls, with assigned female staff for girls’ wings, ensure privacy and well-being.
- Round-the-clock resident wardens and caretakers ensure that every child is seen, heard, and supported — emotionally and physically.
- Medical care is just a call away, and hostel routines blend structured discipline with warmth and familiarity — a true home away from home.
Bus Safety
- All school buses and wingers are fitted with GPS tracking systems, CCTV cameras, speed governors, fire extinguishers, and first-aid kits.
- Transport contact numbers are visibly displayed in every vehicle.
- The entire fleet has been officially inspected and approved by the District Administration, meeting all regulatory standards for school transportation.

Water Safety
Access to clean water is a right, not a luxury. RO-purified drinking water is available on every floor for students and staff, promoting hydration and health throughout the day.

Swimming Pool Safety
- Qualified lifeguards and trained coaches supervise all pool activities.
- Female instructors and separate changing rooms cater to the needs of girl students.
- CCTV cameras ensure the poolside remains under continuous, discreet watch.

Fire Safety
- A Fire Management System has been implemented across the campus, with fire extinguishers in all key locations, including every school bus.
- Regular fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises are conducted in collaboration with the 8th BN SSB, Gaya.
- Fire safety training for staff and students is organised at regular intervals to build awareness and response readiness.

Sanitation and Toilets
- Separate, clean washrooms are maintained for boys and girls.
- Additional restrooms are allocated for transport staff and campus visitors, located outside the academic block to maintain hygiene standards.
Medical Facilities
- A well-equipped medical room with two beds is available on campus, overseen by a full-time qualified nurse.
- Doctor-on-call services and a tie-up with a nearby hospital ensure emergency support is accessible when needed.
- Health check-ups are conducted periodically, and student medical records are carefully maintained for reference and early intervention.

Our Commitment
At DPS Deoghar, we don’t believe in building walls of fear, but frameworks of care.
We don’t merely react to risks — we anticipate and prepare.
Safety isn’t an act. It’s an atmosphere.
And that’s what we strive to offer — every hour, every day, for every child.
